Where you have God’s Kingdom

Where you have God’s kingdom there is passion for what’s true,

And where you have God’s kingdom, that kingdom is in view.

And where you have God’s kingdom, there’s a love for what is good,

So all of those who know him live rightly as they should.

Where you have God’s kingdom there is love for fellow man,

Compassion for the needy, according to God’s plan,

The feeding of the hungry, as Jesus said to do,

And welcome for the stranger—of genuine faith a clue.

Where you have God’s kingdom there is preaching of his Word,

The moving of the Spirit so it pierces like a sword,

Convicting and converting, yet flooding all with peace,

Joy of heart will linger, and righteousness increase.

Where you have God’s kingdom there is great humility,

No place for pride or hubris, or superiority,

In Christ we are one body, regardless of our place,

For we were all lost sinners but now redeemed by grace.

Where you have God’s kingdom his truth and love prevail,

And where you have God’s kingdom, his Spirit fills your sail,

And where you have God’s kingdom, there’s always more to come,

So hasten now his coming, his will on earth be done.
